DESCRIPTION:\nSarah S. Butters joins us to present the Annual Legislative Update.  \n \nSarah is a Shareholder at Ausley McMullen where she specializes in wills, trusts and estate. She is experienced in:\n• trust and estates litigation; \n• sophisticated estate planning, including prenuptial agreements and business succession planning; \n• administration of probates, guardianship and trusts; and \n• formation and administration of charitable organizations.\n\nMs. Butters also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Florida State University College of Law, where she has taught Gratuitous Transfers (the law of wills and trusts) since 2010.\n\nMs. Butters is on the Executive Committee for the Florida Bar's Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section and also serves as the Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee. She is also a Past President of the Estate Planning Council for the Tallahassee Region. \n\nMs. Butters is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estates Counsel (ACTEC), where she serves on the Fiduciary Litigation, Legal Education and State Laws Committees. \n\nShe is a frequent lecturer at state and national conferences. \n
