She is experienced in:\n • trust and estates litigation; \n • sophisticated estate planning, including prenuptial agreements and business succession planning; \n • administration of probates, guardianship and trusts; and \n • formation and administration of charitable organizations.\n\n Ms. Butters also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Florida State University College of Law, where she has taught Gratuitous Transfers (the law of wills and trusts) since 2010.\n\n Ms. Butters is on the Executive Committee for the Florida Bar's Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section and also serves as the Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee. She is also a Past President of the Estate Planning Council for the Tallahassee Region. \n\n Ms. Butters is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estates Counsel (ACTEC), where she serves on the Fiduciary Litigation, Legal Education and State Laws Committees. \n\n She is a frequent lecturer at state and national conferences. \n \nINFORMATION ABOUT THE WEBINAR SPEAKER:\n \nPeter Merrick is the author of three business text books for the professional trusted advisory audience on the topics of tax minimization, business succession, estate planning and executive benefits. The tittles of his books are: “The Essential Individual Pension Plan Handbook” “The T.A.S.K – The Trusted Advisor’s Survival Kit”, and A.S.K. –  Advisors Seeking Knowledge – A Comprehensive Guild to Succession and Estate Planning.\n \nAll of his books have been published by LexisNexis, a leading global authoritative provider of legal, accounting and risk management resources. His books are used in post-secondary programs for instruction in advanced financial, business succession and estate planning. These books are also found in educational libraries throughout the English-speaking world.
