DESCRIPTION:\nOscar “Lee” Wiseley, Jr. Senior Vice President; Director, Wealth Strategies leads a team of attorneys who provide professional counsel and wealth planning for Family Office clients. This involves coordination with The Family Office at Synovus relationship managers, individual family members and additional family advisors such as private attorneys, accountants, and company executives. The objective is to understand the family’s goals and provide strategic advice and guidance to help them achieve those goals. Lee also serves as Senior Vice President of Synovus Trust Company, where he provides guidance on fiduciary matters.\n Lee has 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Synovus in 2006, he practiced law at the Bowden Spratt Law Firm, in Atlanta, and worked as an Estate and Gift Tax Attorney for the Internal Revenue Service in Atlanta.\nLee’s educational credentials include an LL.M. in Taxation from the Emory School of Law, a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, and a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia College of Business Administration. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.\n Lee is a frequent speaker on estate planning and fiduciary issues to professional groups throughout the Southeast. He is Past Chairman and current member of the Fiduciary Section of the State Bar. He is also a member of the Investment Committee of the State Bar.\n
