Karen Murillo is a Florida-based attorney with experience in both criminal prosecution and elder justice advocacy.  Karen has prosecuted cases throughout the state for over eight years, first as an Assistant State Attorney in South Florida and then as an Assistant Statewide Prosecutor working for the Florida Office of Attorney General’s Senior Protection Team.  For the past four years, Karen has spent her time focusing on the prosecution and prevention of financial exploitation and fraud committed against Florida’s seniors and other vulnerable adults.  Karen is an alumna of the University of Central Florida and the University of Miami School of Law.
