The owner of the St. John Law Firm, P.L., Ms. St. John offers clients solid skills in litigation, transactions, taxation, and healthcare finance. Additionally, she counsels individuals and families on entity formation and estate planning, including wills, trusts and asset protection.
Ms. St. John has a diverse legal career and substantial healthcare experience. Prior to law school, she had a long and successful healthcare finance career beginning in the mid-1980s as a Medicare auditor for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Reimbursement Manager at a Florida hospital, and as a Manager with Ernst & Young's former Health Care Advisory Services. Ms. St. John has represented health care facilities and practitioners and has litigated cases at the Division of Administrative Hearings. Additionally, she prepares estate planning documents and drafts and negotiates simple and complex contracts, settlements and lease agreements. Ms. St. John also represents individuals and entities in civil matters and matters before the Internal Revenue Service and the Florida Department of Revenue.
At Florida State, she received the Book Award in International Taxation. Ms. St. John's undergraduate alma mater is the University of Florida, where she received her B.S. in accounting and was inducted into the Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honor Society.
